วันนี้เราจะมาเรียนภาษาอังกฤษเบื้องต้นสำหรับพนักงานโรงแรมกันจ้า
1. การใช้ประโยค Can I help you?
ใช้ในการแสดงความความต้องการที่จะช่วยเหลือแขกที่มาใช้บริการโรงแรมนั้นนอกจากประโยค

            May I help you?
            What can I do for you?
            Can I be of any assistance?

  การใช้สำนวนที่สุภาพเมื่อสนทนากับแขกของโรงแรมพนักงานควรหมั่นฝึกการใช้ประโยค Would you … และ could you…please ในการสอบถามแขก

ตัวอย่างเช่น
            Would you like to reserve a double suite room on the fifth floor?
            Could you give me your e-mail, please?

 การใช้ประโยคที่มั่นใจว่าจะต้องเกิดขึ้น โดยการใช้รูปประโยคนี้จะนิยมใช้   Will be + v-ing

ตัวอย่างเช่น

            How long will you be staying? (คุณจะมาพักนานเท่าไหร่)
            How will he be paying for the room? (เขาจะจ่ายเงินแบบไหน)

8. การยืนยันกับแขกในกรณีห้องพักว่าง และกรณีที่ห้องพักไม่ว่าง

กรณีที่ห้องพักของโรงแรมไม่ว่างพนักงานโรงแรมอาจจะใช้ประโยคเหล่านี้ในการสนทนากับแขกได้ เช่น

Receptionist: 5,500 baht per night, including breakfast, tax, and service charge.

         Guest: Ok, I’ll book the room.

Receptionist: Could you give me your name and contact number, please.

         Guest: Sure, my name is Mrs. Risa, my phone number is 090-111-1234.
