การใช้ Have, Has, Got

I, you, we, they และประธานอื่น ๆ ที่เป็นพหูพจน์ใช้กับ have มี / haven’t got ไม่มี / don’t have ไม่มี

he, she, it และประธานอื่น ๆ ที่เป็นเอกพจน์ใช้กับ has มี / hasn’t got ไม่มี / doesn’t have ไม่มี  

Have got และ has got มีความหมายเหมือนกับ have และ has ที่แปลว่า “มี” แต่จะใช้ในภาษาพูดเป็นส่วนใหญ่ Have got และ has got จึงเป็นคำที่ไม่เป็นทางการ และส่วนมากจะได้ยินจากคนอังกฤษ 

เช่น

He has got black hair. ผู้ชายคนนั้นมีผมสีดำ

I have got a new idea.ฉันมีไอเดียใหม่

We have got apples.พวกเรามีแอปเปิ้ล

I have got a new mobile phone. ฉันมีโทรศัพท์มือถือเครื่องใหม่

John has got a big house.จอห์นมีบ้านหลังใหญ่

I have got two older brothers.ฉันมีพี่ชายสองคน

I usually have got a talk with him on Monday.ฉันมักจะพูดคุยกับเขาในวันจันทร์

I have got a ticket from Tom.ฉันเพิ่งได้รับตั๋วจากทอม (อันนี้แปลว่าได้รับ)

Can I borrow some money? ขอยืมเงินหน่อยได้มั้ย / I don’t have any money. / I have no money. ผมไม่มีเงินเลย (แบบอเมริกัน)

He doesn’t have any money. / He has no money. เค้าไม่มีเงิน

ฝั่งอังกฤษก็จะใช้ประมาณนี้นะ

การถาม-ตอบแบบอังกฤษ

Have you got a cat?  คุณเลี้ยงแมวหรือเปล่า / Yes, I have. เลี้ยง / No, I have not. หรือ No, I haven’t. ไม่เลี้ยง

Has he got a girlfriend? เขามีแฟนมั้ย /  Yes, he has. มี / No, he has not. หรือ No, he hasn’t. ไม่มี

Can I borrow some money? ขอยืมเงินหน่อยได้มั้ย / I haven’t got any money. ผมไม่มีเงินเลย /

He hasn’t got any money. เค้าไม่มีเงิน

Have ไม่ได้แปลว่ามีอย่างเดียว

 Have แปลว่า มี

ถาม-ตอบ แบบอเมริกัน

Do you have a dog? Yes, I do / No, I don’t.

Do you have the book? Yes, I do / No, I don’t.

He doesn’t have any money. / He has no money.

I don’t have any money. / I have no money.

ถาม-ตอบ แบบอังกฤษ

Have you got the book? Yes, I have. / No, I haven’t.

Have you got a dog? Yes, I have. / No, I haven’t.

Has she got a boyfriend? Yes, she has./ No, she hasn’t. 

I haven’t got any money. 

He hasn’t got any money.

Have แปลว่า ดื่ม กิน (eat, drink, take)

Have breakfast. กินอาหารเช้า  

Have a cup of coffee. ดื่มกาแฟ 

Have pizza. กินพิซซ่า 

Have a meal. รับประทานอาหาร 

Have something to eat. กินข้าว

James is having lunch at the moment. (เจมส์กำลังกินข้าวเที่ยงอยู่)

I had two cups of coffee this morning. (เมื่อเช้าผมดื่มกาแฟมาสองแก้ว)

Let's have some pizza. (ไปกินพิซซ่ากัน)

Have แปลว่า อาบน้ำ, จัดงานเลี้ยง, ฝัน, เดินเล่น

Have a bath อาบน้ำ

Have a party จัดปาร์ตี้

Have a dream ฝัน

Have a walk เดินเล่น

Have an accident เกิดอุบัติเหตุ

Have a baby มีครรภ์

เช่น

My cousin had an accident a week ago. (เกิดอุบัติเหตุ / ได้รับอุบัติเหตุ)

I had a really bad dream last night. (ฝันร้าย)

I'm having a party tonight. (จัดงานเลี้ยง)

สำนวน ขึ้นต้นด้วย Have อื่น ๆ

Have แปลว่า ดู (Have a look at something)

เช่น

Can I have a look at your exercise? (ขอดูการบ้านเธอหน่อยสิ)

Have a look at this! (ดูนี่สิ!)

Have another look = ดูอีกครั้ง/ตรวจสอบอีกครั้ง

เช่น

You should have another look at your paper. 

Have a big mouth = ชอบนินทา, พูดมาก

เช่น

Jimmy has a big mouth จิมมี่ขี้นินทา/ชอบพูดมาก

You have such a big mouth! เธอนี่มันปากมากจริง ๆ!

Amy has a big mouth. เอมมี่ชอบนินทาคนอื่น/ชอบพูดมาก

Have your hand full = ยุ่งมาก ๆ

เช่น

I'm sorry, I have my hand full = I'm very busy

I’m sorry, I have my hand full. ขอโทษนะ ฉันยุ่งมากๆเลย

Have a sweet tooth = ชอบกินของหวาน

My son has a sweet tooth. ลูกชายฉันชอบกินของหวาน

Have a heart of gold = ใจดีมาก ๆ (very kind and generous)

เช่น

My boss has a heart of gold. เจ้านายฉันใจดีมาก ๆ

My father  has a heart of gold. พ่อของฉันใจดีมาก ๆ

Have a good head on your shoulders = ฉลาดมาก ๆ, หัวไว

Tom has a good head on his shoulders

Have eyes in the back of your head = รู้ทันทุกเรื่อง, รู้ทันเหตุการณ์ทุกอย่าง

My teacher has eyes in the back of her head (She knows everything ไม่ว่าใครทำอะไรในห้องรู้หมด)

Have your head in the clouds = เหม่อลอย, ไม่สนใจใครพูดอะไร

James has his head in the clouds all day เจมส์เหม่อลอยไม่คุยกับใคร ไม่สนใจใครพูดทั้งวัน

Have a row with someone = มีเรื่องทะเลาะ หรือ มีเรื่องขัดแย้งกับใครบางคนอยู่

เช่น

My parents have a row about family expenses. พ่อกับแม่ของฉันทะเลาะกันเรื่องค่าใช้จ่ายของครอบครัว

Have a word with = ต้องการคุยด้วยเป็นส่วนตัว

เช่น

Excuse me, I need to have a little word with him. ขอตัวนะคะ ฉันต้องการคุยกับเขาเป็นส่วนตัวสักเล็กน้อย

Have something in common = มีอะไรคล้ายกัน

เช่น

My sister has a lot of things in common with me. น้องสาวของฉันมีอะไรหลายๆอย่างคล้ายกับฉัน

Have head in the clouds = จิตใจเหม่อลอยไม่อยู่กับเนื้อกับตัว

เช่น

He usually has his head in the clouds. เขามักจะจิตใจเหม่อลอยไม่อยู่กับเนื้อกับตัว

Have a blast = สนุก มีความสุข มีช่วงเวลาที่ดี

เช่น

The party was so good and we also had a blast. งานปาร์ตี้สนุกมาก เราพวกเราก็มีความสุขสนุกสุดเหวี่ยงไปเลย

Have a good time = ขอให้สนุกนะ มีช่วงเวลาที่ดี

เช่น

I hope you have a good time on weekend. ฉันหวังว่าคุณจะสนุกกันวันหยุดนี้นะ

Have eyes in the back of your head = รู้ทันทุกเรื่อง, รู้ทันเหตุการณ์ทุกอย่าง

เช่น

My mother has eyes in the back of her head. แม่ของฉันรู้ทันไปหมด

Have a crush on someone = หลงรักหรือคลั่งไคล้ใครคนใดคนหนึ่ง แอบรักหรือปิ้ง

เช่น

You must really have a crush on Blackpink. คุณต้องคลั่งไคล้แบล็คพิ้งค์มากแน่ๆ

Have a date (with) = มีนัด ติดนัด ไปเที่ยว (กับ)

เช่น

l have a date to play football with my friends. ฉันมีนัดเตะบอลกับเพื่อน

Have a good head on your shoulders = ฉลาดมาก ๆ, หัวไว

เช่น

Jane has a good head on his shoulders. เจนฉลาดหัวไวมากๆ

การใช้ Get to...

 Get to + สถานที่  = ไปถึง

ตัวอย่าง

I get to the hospital. ฉันไปถึงโรงพยาบาล

I get to school. ฉันไปถึงโรงเรียน

I need to get to the airport by 9.00 am. ฉันต้องไปถึงสนามบิน 9 โมง

Get home / there / here ไม่ต้องเติม to

I have to get home. ฉันต้องไปถึงบ้าน

I hope you get there. ฉันหวังว่าคุณจะไปถึงที่นั่น

They helped us to get here. พวกเขาช่วยเราให้มาถึงที่นี่

Get to + V1 = ได้ทำ

John gets to be a boss for one day. จอห์นได้ตำแหน่งเป็นเจ้านายหนึ่งวัน

Jessy will get to interview the President this Friday.

นอกจากนี้ยังมีสำนวน Get อีกมากมาย เช่น

Get up – ตื่นนอน  หรือจะแปลว่า ลุกขึ้น

Get used to – หมายถึง คุ้นเคย คุ้นชิน กับอะไรบางอย่าง เช่น  It’s so hot outside. ข้างนอกร้อนอย่างแรงส์ 

Get used to it. Weren't you born here? ชินได้แล้ว ทำยังกะไม่ได้เกิดที่นี่ 

Get a job – หางานทำ เช่น You should go get a job if you’re doing nothing.

Get into - หมายถึง ติด  เช่น These days, John is really getting into playing football. ช่วงนี้จอห์นนี่ติดเล่นฟุตบอลงอมเลย

I have been getting into painting recently. ฉันเริ่มสนใจวาดรูปเมื่อไม่นานที่ผ่านมา

Get started – ใช้ เวลาจะเริ่มต้น(ทำ)อะไรซักอย่าง เช่น  Alright, let’s get started. 

Get together - คือ นัดมาเจอกัน มาพบปะ กันนั่นเอง 

เช่น Let’s get together this weekend. My Wife is out of town. เจอกันหน่อยอาทิตย์นี้ว่างมาก เมียไม่อยู่

Get to know –  มีโอกาสได้...

เช่น to get to know someone ก็คือ ได้มีโอกาสทำความรู้จักกับใครสักคน 

เช่น I’m starting a new job next week. Hopefully, I’ll get to know a lot of people. อาทิตย์หน้าเริ่มงานใหม่แล้ว หวังว่าจะได้ทำความรู้จักคนที่ทำงานใหม่เยอะ ๆ นะ

การตอบรับคำทักทาย How are you?

บทความนี้จะอธิบายเกี่ยวกับการตอบรับคำทักทาย How are you? จากบทความที่แล้วนะคะ โดยปกติถ้าถูกถามว่า how are you? หลาย ๆ คนก็มักจะตอบว่า I'm fine, thanks. And you? กันใช่มั้ยคะมันทำให้คนฟังบางทีก็รู้สีกว่าฉันพูดกับหุ่นยนต์หรือเปล่ามาแพทเทิร์นเดี๋ยวกับตอนเริ่มต้นเรียนจนเรียนจบเลย ... ต่อไปนี้เรามีประโยคใหม่ ๆ มาให้เลือกใช้เลือกเรียนรู้กันหลายประโยคเลยค่ะไปดูกันเลยค่ะ

I’m good.

Pretty good.

I'm great.

หรือถ้าเราอยากจะบอกประมาณว่าก็เรื่อย ๆ ไม่ได้แย่ลง หรือว่าดีขึ้นเราก็ตอบได้ตามข้างล่างนี่เลยค่ะ

I’m alive! ฉันยังมีชีวิตอยู่ อันนี้จะออกไปแนวติดตลกหน่อยค่ะ 

หรือบางครั้งชีวิตคนเรามันก็ไม่ได้เจอแต่สิ่งดี ๆ แต่เราก็ไม่ได้อยากนึกถึงมันให้อารมร์เสียก็ตอบแบบนี้ได้เช่นกันค่ะ

มีอีกประโยคหนึ่งนะคะที่ฝรั่งมักจะใช้บ่อยก็คือ What's up? ประโยคนี้เขาจะไม่ค่อยตอบเหมือนข้างบนนะคะแต่จะตอบกลับเป็น What's up? เหมือนเดิมค่ะดูตัวอย่างค่ะ

A: What's up?

C: What's up, guy?

D: Hey ! what's up?

ต่อไก็ไม่ต้องตอบ I'm fine, thank you. And you? อย่างเดียวแล้วนะคะ อย่าลืมไปฝึกพูดกันนะคะ
